Extra Mile Awards
Acorn is pleased to announce its support of Newport City Council’s Extra Mile Awards for it's second consecutive year.
The aim of the Awards is to recognise very special people (living and working in the Newport area), who have demonstrated commitment over and above the call of duty to an employer, as an outstanding volunteer to a charitable organisation, or simply proved themselves to be a valuable member of the community by virtue of their support of others less fortunate.
An awards ceremony will be held on Friday 3rd February at the Celtic Manor Resort for the winners to be publicly honoured by the City.
